It really is over
I took cari to Happy Hollow Park today hoping to get some answers to what happened with us. It’s really hard for me to admit to myself that after almost 6 years it’s really over between me and cari. There is a part of me wondering if I had never gone to Minnesota this summer if we would still be together and working on planning our wedding soon. In my mind I had it all worked out . . . graduate in december, get a job, save some money to buy her engagement ring, and get married.

I stopped by cari’s apartment today to drop off some of her laundry that had been at my place all summer and to pick up the ring I gave her. Unfortunetly I found out that since the ring had been resized Zales won’t take it back. Before this summer the only piece of jewlry I had bought cari was a friendship ring that I gave her on our 1 year anniversiry. However when I went to vegas I picked up a tiffany’s necklace that I planned to give to her when i returned from Minnesota. I ended up carrying the necklace around in my pocket for a week but I could tell there was something up with cari and now i’m glad I never gave it to her. I was thinking of going to the pawn shop to try and sell the ring and necklace but realize I’d get more out of it by selling them on ebay. Me and Susan finally got the paperwork turned it for our internet and cable so once that gets set up I’ll start working on the ebay auction and hopefully can get the rest of this site up and running.
