This last week really flew by. Last Sunday I went with Annie, Todd and Katie to the Wacovia Championships cause Annie got some free passes from her cousin. Turns out her cousin is the CEO of Goodyear aerospace so we had private access to the pool house and pool right by the 18th hole as well as all the food and drinks we could eat. Although not much of a golfer it was pretty cool to go (probably cause of the free drinks). We did get to see Tiger play some and were right behind VJ when he hit the winning shot in Sudden Death. All week long I’ve been trying to clean my room and do laundry but something came up every night so today was the first time I got to get some of that done. Tuesday-dinner at tony romas. Wednesday-Summer Concert Series and Softball Doubleheader. Thursday-golfing range then helping carmen with her new couch. Friday I went with Eric to his teacher happy hour with Todd and afterwards we played stools at his place before going out. We ended up going to Phils and got the cover band to play Sweet Caroline for us and after having everyone in the bar stare in amazement at us going crazy we walked out and over to RiRa’s. It was a great night and I wished that I could have stayed out longer but I had to get up early on Saturday for Rock Climbing. Although it seemed like it was gonna rain on our way up to Pilot Mountain it held off and turned out to be a pefect day for my first time Rock Climbing. (Be sure to check out the pictures cause I’m too lazy to link to anything right now). After rock climbing we ended up grilling out at Sarah and Eric’s place by the pool where I spent the rest of my night. This morning I was woken up with the temptation of Dim Sum which turned out to be a great idea although I thought at first we were never gonna eat cause the time kept getting pushed pack and then I ended my night at Ryan’s playing poker. This week seems like it’s gonna be just as busy. Amanda’s getting back from NYC tomorrow. Softball on Tues/Wed. And then there is this benefit going on outside at connelly’s on Saturday where for $20 you can get all the PBR and Boone’s Farm you want. (once again because i’m too lazy to put in links tonight message me if you want more details)

Life is good :)

by andrew corn

Alright haven’t updated in a while and I guess it’s because everything has been going really good in life. When I first started blogging on this site I was going through a lot and it helped to write down how I was feeling, but not that things are going GREAT I don’t really feal the need to update this site as much. I still want to port this site over to dotnetnuke but I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t gotten around to it, although it seems like a lot of people are gonna be out of town this weekend so maybe that will give me a chance to rest for a while. I’m going to a retirement party tonight for Hugh McColl which should be pretty interesting. He was the ex-ceo of Bank of America so I’m expecting some pretty important people to be there tonight but it’s a western theme party so I’m interested in seeing how everyone dresses. I got a pretty pimp shirt from the thrift store because I didn’t think about bringing down all my cowboy stuff I have from serenades my pledge year. For the most part the amount of work I have to do has picked up considerable which has made the workday go a lot faster. I can’t believe that I’ve been here for a whole semester now. It seems like I just got here a few weeks ago.
