Orlando
I booked my flight/hotel/rental car to Orlando the other day. Pretty excited to get the opportunity to spend 6 days there on Bank of America’s dollar. I fly in on Saturday and don’t have anything to do till Sunday so I’m gonna try and check out Universal or one of the other theme parks since i’ve never been. (What can I say. . . i was deprived as a child.) I wish that I had a friend down there or someone could come down with me. It seems like I know someone in almost every city of the US except Orlando.
trouble
I have a feeling I’ll be getting into trouble tonight. Didn’t get much sleep last night cause of poker. But that’s okay cause I beat out 13 other people for first place and won $100. And tonight is the mother of all parties. Bought tons of liquor for tonight (note not beer) for a pre preparty and then heading to the preparty at cotten mills, and then out to the forum. Gonna get crazy. Probably gonna have to cab home. Most likely won’t remember the night . . . except through pictures. (available exclusively on acorndiggity) Gotta love nights like these!
Panthers
It was a sad day today to watch the colts lose. Even though the steelers tried to give us the game today the colts still couldn’t convert. So many missed opportunities. Ohh well at least I’m out of Indiana now and into North Carolina. Granted the bobcats probably won’t be much to cheer for another few years but they have looked good at the games I’ve gone to. As for the panthers they are living up to their expectations. Definetly going to look at getting season tickets text year. Although that will probably mean missing a few colts games.
drunk calls
I always love getting drunk calls from friends at night (i’m being serious. . . it lets me know people are thinking of me). So I just wanted to say thanks for the call last night lori. Luckly I was on my way home from a late night of poker at robs and not sleeping. Lots of money was being tossed around and I won $25 all in quarters. Thanks ben!
Resolutions
Well it’s a new year and people keeping asking me what my new years resolutions are . . . well i didn’t make any. I didn’t make any last year and I never really understood why people would wait for a certain day of the year to make resolutions. I do have things in my life that I want to do but most of those are long term resolutions and not things that I want to accomplish necessarily this year. But if you want them here they are: Keep in touch with friends (both old and new), pay off some debt, continue working out, and go to church more often. I do try and make it but I hate being held to a schedule. Several months ago I was asked if Church could be any restraunt what would I want it to be and why. My answer was Taco Bell because they are open late and you can go whenever you have the craving. I just don’t have a craving for taco’s at 10:30 on Sunday morning. I am trying though to suck it up and go that early but it was so much easier in High School because I had so many friends at church that it was almost a social thing. Maybe that’s wrong but really shouldn’t it be a social thing as well? Hmmm I better stop writing and thinking this much.
