San Fran?
We got our flight information for China. We are flying out of SFO on Friday August 2nd at 11am. Since the flight is in the morning WorldTeach is going to put us up in a hotel Thursday night. I’m thinking I’ll probably head up Wed so I can hang out with Amish some and also check out the area some since I’m hoping to move there when I come back to the states.
The Final Countdown!
1 week till the beach!
3 weeks till Vegas!
6 weeks till I move from Charlotte 
7 weeks till I move to China!
10 weeks till I start teaching my first class!
Now if I could just figure out what I’m doing this weekend.
A weekend in the ATL
I drove down to Atlanta this weekend with carmen. She was going for her friend’s 30th birthday and I was going down to visit switt. After I dropped carmen off I took the hike down to griffin and arrived an hour before switt got off work. This game me time to go to the liquior store and buy some captian. Guess my liver is going to have to stay in trouble for a while. I was a few drinks in when he made it home and didn’t last much longer. The next morning we woke up and went to stone mountain. There was a lot of hype around the place and I had a good time there despite not living up to the expectations. While we were out there another friend who moved out to the Atlanta area met up with us. Caterpilliar (Switt’s company) was having their company picnic so we all got free passes to all the attractions. The view from the top was amazing but I don’t recommend taking the train ride. Definetly not worth the wait, or cost if you have to pay for it. Sunday I went to Switt’s church with him and Jess. It was an AG church and reminded me a lot of my church back home.
Camera broke but disease free!
Somehow on the drunken bus ride from Yama Sushi back to the strip in vegas my camera broke. I’m not sure if it was in the middle of the tit/ball slap fight or the wet t-shirt contest but it looks like i’m going to have to get a new camera. I do have a few pics from cable/corbin’s wedding as well as from vegas before it broke that i’ll try and upload in the next few days but i’ve been busy trying to get my ESL training hours in.
