National Week Pictures
Pictures from National Week are now posted on the photos page. I took a bus from Yongzhou to Guilin, flew to Shanghai where I stayed for 3 days, then took a really nice train to Shuzhou and after some confusion in tickets took a really crappy train back to Shanghai . The next day I rode stole away on a high speed train to Nanjing where I spent 6 hours before riding a bus back to Shanghai then caught a flight to Changsha. Spent one night there before riding an even crappier train back to Yongzhou where I am happy to finally be back.

I got a call from my liaison that said that I had received a rather large package in the mail today. I’ve been waiting for this call for a while and immediately rushed up to his office grabbed my package and began to feel like a kid at Christmas. And what better present then Velveeta Shells and Cheese and Peanut Butter when your stuck in the middle of china! Diane your the best! It’s times like these that make me happy to have such good friends but also sad to think that it will be a whole year without seeing them . . . unless of course anyone is interested in joining me in Bali for a week in Feb
