Having resigned from WorldTeach I’m not exactly in the loop on everything that is happening but here are a few more news links to the previous entry.

One of the volunteer teachers that I came over here with was attacked by some Chinese people as he was shopping at the carrefour in zhuzhou, hunan. I don’t think I have anything to worry about here in Guangzhou but it seems that many of the teachers still in Hunan are shaken.

No posts = good

by andrew corn

For those wondering, I’ve noticed that I typically only post on this site when things are going bad.  So you can take the fact that I have not posted recently as a sign things are going good.  I am planning on visiting Korea at the beginning of may but have yet to book my tickets so plans could still change but everything else that I was worrying about earlier has worked itself out.  It seems that some things in China are escalating before the Olympics but most of the issues that you might have heard about on the news aren’t occurring in Guangzhou so I think I’m safe.  It will be interesting though to see how things play out in the next few months though.
